SBB COMPANY PROVIDED FREE DIGITAL PROGRAM FOR SOCIAL PROTECTION INSTITUTIONS

Within the process of digitalization, SBB company in the cooperation with Palilula Municipality of Nis, donated to two institutions for social protection- Safe House and Nurdor, packages for free of charge paying of digital television, that also have the donation of TV sets. Sasa Matic, vice president of Palilula Municipal Council was present during this donation.

Manager of Safe House Sonja Scekic says that this donation of this company SBB means a lot specially in the moment when they have their account blocked. TV program will be a leisure time for six women with children who escaped home violence and found their new home in Safe house in Nis.

In the same time in Family House are two families from Nis surrounding with children who are diagnosed with the heaviest disease - cancer. In their hard moments that they spend out of their homes to these families it is important something to distract attention from the problems and diseases and watching tv is also a sort of that activity emphasizes Jelena Golubov Todorovic.

SBB company from 2013 provides free internet and cable tv to Family House and Safe House will no longer pay any of these services.

Donation for Safe House was directed by Palilula Municipality which, as they say, in this way helps sort of institutions in its territory. SBB has digitized total of 16 institutions that deal with social protection in Serbia and next donation is Leskovac, they say in this company and send appeal to other firms for help those who need help most.
